A thousand thanks to our amazing supporters who helped make February's One-Day Wednesday a phenomenal success! We reached our $100,000 goal in just one day, and also announced Don Ellis from Trumansburg, New York as the winner of our iPad drawing. Contributors like You are WSKG, and we couldn't provide top-quality radio without your support!
Even more thanks to all of the WSKG and public broadcasting enthusiasts who made calls and sent letters and emails to their Representatives and Senators these past few weeks. Nationally, over 200,000 advocates sent more than 170,000 emails and made thousands of calls to Congress. We heard directly from Congressional offices that the phones were ringing off the hook – one office reported more than 1,000 calls in support of public broadcasting in a single day. More than half of all Americans use public media every month - if you're one of them, take action at 170millionamericans.org and write your Senator today!
