San Francisco Ballet's Nutcracker on December 12th at 9:00pm. Finish out the month with WSKG's local production, Expressions: Holiday Harmonies on December 23rd at 8:00pm, and finish out the year with Phil Collins Going Back: Live at Roseland Ballroom on New Year's Eve starting at 10:30pm. Also this December, WSKG Public Radio and TV will examine religion in America. Straight from the WSKG Studios this December - an all new episode of Move It! Julia of the Blueberryanators conquers the largest indoor rock climbing wall in North America at Cornell University and racks up as many points as possible for her team! Learn how to make Good Morning Muffins with help from local second grader Mara and her grandmother. Plus, you'll be grooving as the Move It! kids take an expressive drum lesson and a group of WSKG's 2010 Johnny Only Songwriting Contest Winners perform a winning song!
And there's more this December for WSKG Kids! Gear up for the launch of this year's Home Tweet Home contest. Show us your best science and technology skills in your proposal for improving bird habitats in your community. If you're feeling especially competitive, participate in the 2011 Johnny Only Songwriting Contest too! Part of the Working on Wellness (WOW) initiative, students grades K-6 should submit their best jam about health and fitness by February 25th!
