Commenting Policy

The internet can be a wonderful forum for conversation and discussion, but like any large gathering, a few rules help make the experience good for everyone. These are our rules. Please note that while we encourage and welcome feedback and dialogue from our readers, any comments that don't follow our guidelines will be deleted.

First things first: Play nice. Treat each other with respect, even if your opinions differ. No name calling, no slander, no questioning the lineage of anyone else. And absolutely no comments that can be taken as threatening, harassing or sexist. Period.

No obscenities. This isn't about being politically correct, it's about good manners.

Stay on topic.
While we all enjoy a good tangent now and then, for the sake of discussion, please keep your comments relevant to the topic at hand. Quoting and linking to relevant content is okay, but please don't copy and paste large amounts of text from other sources.

Please respect people's privacy. No posting of phone numbers, email addresses or physical addresses of other people.

Thanks.
